A Reprint...

...of my 1992 story about Mongols and Mohawks, "The Sleeping Serpent," has been reprinted in The Mammoth Book of Alternate Histories, which can be bought in the US here and at other book sellers. A short review of the anthology appeared in the Financial Times, which shows that I am in really great company.

A Note to Readers

For a few days now, readers have been unable to buy my two Tor novels, Earthseed and Farseed, directly from Amazon. Why? For a beautifully written answer to that question, in case you have been out of touch with the news, John Scalzi provides an eloquent explanation here. In the meantime, I urge my readers to purchase my books from Powell's, Barnes & Noble, or your local independent bookstore, which you can locate using Indiebound's handy online tool here. (H/T to John Scalzi for the suggestions.)

UPDATE: WaPo's Steven Pearlstein weighs in.

UPDATE TWO: You can also buy a number of my books, in electronic and print editions, from E-Reads, here.

UPDATE THREE: The Buy button at Amazon for my Tor books has been restored.
