The New Year

After the latest bad news of 2016, I have no more to say except that I only hope 2017 will be a better year for everyone. But with this particular reprobate assuming high office in January, that is likely a futile hope.

I remain in mourning for my country.

And there's this. I remember the anti-feminist backlash of the 1980s mentioned in that piece and had hoped we were past it. Clearly I'd forgotten too much of our history.
