Major News on the E-Books Front

Just found out today that E-Reads.com, where almost all of my backlist is either available or contracted for, has been acquired by Open Road Media. I'll be curious, to put it mildly, to see how all of this shakes out. Press releases here and here.

New Editions of The Shore of Women 

My 1986 novel The Shore of Women has just been reissued as an e-book and in a paperback print-on-demand edition by E-Reads.com, which has also brought out my 1998 alternate history Climb the Wind in e-editions. Read more about each book here and here.

Foreign Rights News

In a shameless attempt to get a few more visitors to this site, I am posting an image of the adorably cute cover of a Danish anthology in which my cat story "Out of Place" has just appeared. This charming cover art is by Manfred Christiansen. In other news, Gollancz's SF Gateway program has acquired the U.K. rights to five more of my books, among them The Shore of Women, The Golden Space, and Climb the Wind.

A Time Travel Story, Reprinted

My short story "If Ever I Should Leave You" is included in Ann and Jeff VanderMeer's massive and comprehensive anthology The Time Traveler's Almanac, now out from Head of Zeus in the U.K. in hardcover and an e-edition and scheduled to be published in the U.S. in 2014.
